Freemasonry is the world's oldest and largest Fraternity, which is viewed by the Catholic Church as a rival in religious affairs. So disturbed was the Church over the power of the Masons over political and business affairs in the world that it founded its own fraternity called "Opus Dei" to counter the spread of Masonry in Europe and the world. This particular site is devoted to explaining the order's objectives and to give the public a better understanding of what it does in its everyday affairs, such as its charity work and social contributions to society. It also list all the lodges in the state, with some addtional information on related Masonic organizations within its charter. To be a Freemason, one has to be invited to join.
