Typical Spanish Dishes

You think Spanish cooking is just like Mexican cooking? You're confusing language with culture, my friend, for nothing could be further from the truth! You'd do yourself some good to visit this site. Spanish cooking relies heavily on seafood, grains, and fresh vegetables. Their cooking is subtly flavored, not usually spicy hot, and full of wonderful textures. A favorite recipe included here is "Tortilla," which in Spain is a wonderful omelette, filled with potatoes and onions. It can be served hot or cold, as an appetizer, or main dish. It's excellent, and only one of several very traditional recipes.
