Teen girls like to think they know everything. Well at Smartgirl.com, they do! Written by teen girls, this site helps the girl who knows what she wants. Music, movies, books, computer games, websites and beauty products are a sample of topics covered. One of the best parts of the site is their web survey. Smartgirl.com was founded by Isabel Walcott, a graduate of Harvard College and Columbia University. She learned that teen girls use the Internet more than most people thought. So why not start a site? After she received thousands of responses, which was the basis for much of Ms. Walcott's early research, Smartgirl.com was born. SmartGirl aims to keep girls thinking and deciding for themselves as they navigate both adolescence and the Web.
