JAPANESE WINE?

I must say that if you said the words "Japanese Wine" to me, I would instantly think "Sake? No thanks." I know, lots of people enjoy sake, but I stick to wine made from grapes. At this site I learned, to my surprise, that our Western favorites, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay, are being produced in Japan. I found this site a fabulously refreshing change, its style and layout quite different from the usual wine information page. Mr. Yoshida, the author, has a charming approach to his subject with photos and commentary about visits to Japanese wineries. He also includes his family, as this is a personal site.
