Purple Crayon: Writing for Children

As someone now exploring the world of writing for children, I've found Purple Crayon most friendly. "You'll find useful articles for writers and illustrators, as well as links to resources for editors, teachers, librarians, parents, and others--children's book people." The site is, in the words of creator Harold D. Underdown himself, "idiosyncratic rather than inclusive" and may not have something for everyone in the increasingly diversified field of writing for children. Nevertheless, it has points of interest for at least most of us in children's books.
