Furniture for Harry Potter Fans

If your children have outgrown their Sesame Street tables, chairs, and beds, they're probably ready to move up to the Hogwarts Wizard's Loft Bed. In an article that summarizes Pottermania, Washington Post staff writer Jura Koncius reports on the line of Harry Potter furniture featured at the recent International Home Furnishings Market in North Carolina. Scaled for children ages 8 to 14, the furniture line, manufactured by P.J. Kids, will be available exclusively through FAO Schwarz until January 1, 2001, and at other retailers thereafter. The Hogwarts Wizard's Loft Bed, the line's signature piece, incorporates a bureau and a bookcase. For those with a large castle to furnish, several complementary pieces are also available, such as the Nimbus 2000 Coat Rack, the Great Hall Reading Chair, and the Dormitory Table with four chairs. All are available in time for Christmas, so order early!
