Because it is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I thought this would be an appropriate site to visit. This is the official website for Denise Turney, author of "Portia." The site offers four different excerpts from "Portia" that are entertaining and uplifting. What I especially like about this site is that Ms. Turney has written a book that is not about death and the ravages of cancer, but about a woman with a strong spirit that becomes a survivor. This is very evident in the excerpts provided at the site. At the end of the website, there is also an extensive list of links pertaining to breast cancer awareness. If you or someone close to you is suffering from this disease, Ms. Turney's website, as well as her book, will uplift and empower you.
