From the other side of the pond, this Irish site contains a huge amount of information on antiques. Some items are for sale, but the primary mission of this site is to inform collectors about British and Irish antiques. And although Gelbourne Antiques can be a little difficult to navigate, it is well worth the effort. The site owner, Ronnie Mckinley, is willing to discuss and answer questions, but he does not "suffer fools gladly," so if you contact him, make sure that your questions are complete and coherent. This site is a "best kept secret" of the Internet and contains plenty of links to other informative sites.
