Don’t judge this site by its homepage! The "About wine" section will give you access to a wealth of information about the wines of France. The sections on regions and grape varieties are remarkably well done and concise, yet comprehensive and very informative. Everyone but the most knowledgeable wine buffs will learn something from these pages, yet the site is also very accessible if you're someone who knows little on the subject and wants to learn about (or bluff your way into) French wines. If you need some reassurance that wine is actually good for your health, visit the "Wine and health" area--you might be surprised. Also take a look at the section on legendary wines and dream on... Having surfed the site for a while, you will probably want to visit their cellar, which offers a fine selection of very reasonably priced wines. And before you order any of them, you can look at the labels and read the tasting notes of leading French wine experts.
