Alexander Graham Bell Family Papers

This is the nostalgic link...relaxing for those of us bombarded daily by telecom acronyms (ATM, DSL, TMN, SONET, MMDS). The Library of Congress has digitized nearly 5,000 documents (some 38,000 images) from The Alexander Graham Bell Family Papers collection. These include laboratory journals and scientific notebooks from Bell’s work with the telephone. A special section on the telephone and the multiple telegraph presents Bell’s initial design sketch for the telephone.
