All Music Guide's Got it all

The All Music Guide (AMG) is a huge and well-designed database on recorded music. The AMG offers ways to learn about music in general, but its main feature are the pages on thousands of artists. An artist's page usually starts with a biography on the band or musician, followed by a list of related artists. The section I find most useful is the discography, where an artist's albums are listed in chronological order with usually on-target star ratings. Clicking on an album title will open a page where a more detailed review is given, along with a listing of the album's song tracks and credits. Everyone is also given a chance to enter their own review of the album. Go see for yourself. The All Music Guide is one of the great free resources on the web.
