What do politics and baseball have in common? Probably more than you'd imagine, according to David Plotz. In his recent article for Slate.com., Plotz draws impressive parallels between recent performances by the Yankees/Republicans and the Braves/Democrats: Steinbrenner opposes "the redistribution of wealth"; the Braves favor open-door immigration, and so on.
