Science museum online

Tucked inside San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts, the Exploratorium is a collage of 650 "science, art, and human perception" exhibits, and the online version's almost as interesting as the real thing. My favorites parts of the site include the RealVideo and photos of the last two total solar eclipses of the millennium at http://www.exploratorium.com/eclipse/index.html, and the fascinating "Fading Dot" at http://www.exploratorium.com/exhibits/fading_dot/fading_dot.html There are lots of fun, interactive exhibits to entertain and educate adults as well as children. If you can't make it to your local science museum, the Exploratorium is a good substitute.
