The Search For Anti-Matter Begins

According to the Big Bang Theory, the universe should contain equal amounts of matter and anti-matter, but so far, no one has been able to find evidence of large amounts of the latter. This article from Space.com describes NASA's plans to launch the 7-ton Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer (AMS), which will be attached to the now-under-construction International Space Station from 2003 to 2006.
