Sex Kitten in Cyberspace

The Astounding B Monster is a cool website all about "B" movies--the ones you love to hate. Here they offer an interview with Mamie Van Doren, whom the site touts as "the first authentic sex kitten in cyberspace." Van Doren was a sexy glamour actress in the 50's and 60's who was often compared to Marilyn Monroe and Jayne Mansfield. Looking back, she thinks of herself as a different type of actress--one who took her craft seriously and didn't even attend her own movie premieres. Van Doren visited the front lines of Vietnam in 1968--places, she claims, that even Bob Hope wouldn't go. Now the former "B" goddess has launched her own website at http://www.mamievandoren.com .
