It's enough to make you want to pack up, stow away on the first boat and spend the rest of your life doing what John Petrak does. His website is packed with dozens of superb photographs and reports of his many diving trips. Don't think that all the dives are run-of-the-mill ocean dives. If you have never been down a lead mine, here is your chance. The mine in question is the Bonne Terre Lead Mine in Missouri. It was closed in 1962 and has since flooded. The Library pages are packed with glorious photographs, including a series on dolphins--my particular favorite sea creature. This site gives you an appreciation of how diverse and wondrous the creatures inhabiting our oceans and rivers are. You don't have to be a diver to enjoy these pages--they will appeal to everyone who enjoys good nature photography.
