X-Files Make-up Artist

Toby Lindala started reading about special-effects makeup at 15, and at 17, he took the plunge as the only male in a class of girls who had been playing with their mothers' makeup for years. The course was an introduction to makeup for film and television. This interview with Toby covers his career since then, up to his nomination for an Emmy award for his work on the X-Files (no, he didn't win). There are some great pictures of X-Files characters and other characters here too--sorry this is late for Halloween, but there's always next year and that does give you time to practice.
