Build a Garden Rock Retaining Wall

One of the most useful hardscape elements in landscaping is a retaining wall. Walls will create level areas which otherwise would be too steep for planting. From the planning stage (soil characteristics and drainage) to actually laying the stones (use larger, flat stones in the lower part of the wall), the process is well defined and illustrated.
