Sports leagues for gays and lesbians can be a great way for gay men to stay in shape and to make new friends--without the homophobia that's sometimes present in straight-dominated athletic groups. Gay.com has put together this useful directory to gay-centric sports organizations in the U.S. (and sometimes around the world). Outdoor enthusiasts may be interested in IGLOO, an "informal network of Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual Outdoor Organizations," while runners can hit the link to the Frontrunners' site. There's enough in this directory that most sports nuts will be able to find information of interest to them--and probably even a local league to join.
