How do Americans view their money?

Nothing brings out a more intense range of emotions in people than money does. A recent survey conducted by Money magazine sought to shed a little light on exactly how Americans perceive their financial lives. Researches queried a representative sample on their attitudes toward Job Security, Getting Rich, and Retirement, among other cash-related concerns. The surveyors found that "Americans strongly associate how much control we have over our lives with the how well we manage our finances. And right now, the volatility of the stock market is leaving us a little shaky."
