Scholars of science fiction should make a beeline to this site, created by some dedicated fans at the University of Michigan. Included here are some truly remarkable resources. You'll find a dictionary of literary symbolism, an outstanding collection of links, and a growing archive of multimedia features under the heading "Explorations." Most fascinating of all, however, is the site's collection of COMPLETE online texts of many seminal science fiction works. This gold mine of classic fantasy literature includes many hard-to-find books and tales: "At the Earth's Core" by Edgar Rice Burroughs; "The Captain of the Polestar and Other Tales" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle; "A Descent into the Maelstrom" by Edgar Allen Poe; "The Door in the Wall, and Other Stories" by H.G. Wells; and even a large selection of the Tom Swift stories by Victor Appleton. Fans of early sci-fi should not miss this site!
