New hormone test aids fertility

Couples battling infertility have had to choose between costly fertility treatments, ineffective drugs, BBT readings which are too late to indicate ovulation, and standard fertility awareness rules. A new hormone tester, Clear Plan Easy, has just been introduced in the US by Unipath. It's not to be used to avoid pregnancy, because it doesn't achieve the 99% accuracy of common fertility awareness indicators, but it may help some couples pinpoint ovulation and maximize their chances of conception. The tester incorporates a memory that stores a user's past cycle history and indicates when a urine test is needed, thus saving on test media.
