"Pokevesting" a bad idea

Christopher Byron's recent article for MSNBC looks the current spate of Pokemon investing squarely in the eyes...and skewers it. In under a year, the price tag on 4Kids Entertainment--the piddling New York City-based licensing company behind the much-coveted line of toys--has gone from $33 million to $1 billion. Now where's the sense in that? According to Byron, "Pokenonsense" would be a more accurate descriptor of the incredible run-up. This article makes a scathingly funny read, whether you love Pokemon, love the stock, both, or neither.
