Bow Before Big Daddy

The undisputed king of funny cars was "Big Daddy" Don Garlits. Now, like all retired heads of state, he has established a museum/shrine devoted to his legacy. The online component of Big Daddy's Museum of Drag Racing, located in Orlando, Florida, this is a colorful and inviting introduction to the world of dragsters (the racing variety, that is). Skip the commercial aspects of the site and head straight into the main gallery, where you'll see a photographic display of the unusual machines this man commanded. Like any good museum site, this one adds value to the experience and makes you want to drop by in person all the more. However, the "biography" section is just a text-heavy list of The Great Man's accomplishments and could use some sprucing. But we have confidence that Big Daddy--or his minions--will get around to that eventually.
