No, not Ghostbusters. Complain.com is the place to give a shout out to if you feel you've been done dirty by an online merchant (or any merchant, for that matter). Unlike some other services that offer online complaint resolution, this one is free. That explains the relative sparseness of the site, but who cares about bells and whistles anyway? As dissatisfied shoppers, all we want is results! Once registered, you are permitted to log an official inquiry against the offending merchant. Complaints are then investigated, with the results posted in a searchable database. Complaints range from the valid (an online book order that never arrived) to the somewhat frivolous (a dispute over a Burger King clerk's refusal to accept a particular coupon), but every grievance is dutifully followed up on. Like Willy Loman's wife said, attention must be paid!
