"Millionaire" vs "Greed"

For the last two weeks, vast swaths of the U.S. population has been glued to their T.V. sets, desperate to see if Regis will annoint anyone with a million dollars. But recently, a competitor has reared its ugly head: FOX-TV's "Greed." In this highly entertaining Salon.com piece, Joyce Millman analyzes these purveyors of nighttime quiz-show mania.
