VINCE CARTER: THE NEXT MICHAEL JORDAN

Actually I hate to lay those expectations on any player. Vince will be Vince and usually that's enough. I caught the Toronto forward's act for the first time Sunday Night, when I visited the new Staples Center in Los Angeles. The man who sliced and diced his way to rookie-of-the year honors in 1998-99 has improved in his sophomore season. He now has the outside game he lacked last year. And like any big-time player these days, he has fans clamoring to set up websites in his honor. Now that's something Michael never had when HE left North Carolina.
