One thing I've always appreciated about sports is how its achievements can be measured and judged against one another. Of course, sometimes the stats can lie. A hitter can be 2 for 12 lifetime against a given pitcher and still belt one out of the park. For my money, no sport throws more confusing numbers at you than football. This site provides the most comprehensive statistical breakdown of the game I've ever seen. There are drive chart stats, down-by-down stats, and play-by-play ratings. There is a whole page devoted just to explaining the stats. Two Minute Warning is a great resource if you love football or even if you just love stats. Just give yourself more than two minutes to enjoy it.
