Your Fly is open. Tie it!

Site: http://www.pacificnet.net/%7Ejas/flyty.htm

You may have mastered How To Tie a Tie, but do you know How To Tie a Fly? It's a bit more complicated, but a heck of a lot less uncomfortable. The Downey Fly Fishers Fly Tying Course adapts material from a book by Don Mayo, described here as "one of the top fly tiers on the west coast." The site takes you through six lessons, each resulting in a different variety of fly. Extreme close-up color photos take you through the steps necessary to create these exotic and very effective lures. Flies covered here include caddis larva, pheasant tail, and light cahill. The text is very simple and direct and should have you tying your own in no time!
