Here's a handy print-n-save that will help prevent your next boat excursion from becoming a nautical nightmare. The good folks at Nautical Know How have come up with a checklist that every boat owner should consult before shipping out or popping the top on their initial libation of the day, whichever comes first. Some of the cautionary items, like "Check Your Weather Forecast," are pretty self-evident, but others might escape the notice of even the most scrupulous mariner. The list is divided into categories, like "Tools and Spares," "Ventilation," and "Bilges," to allow you to delegate certain safety checks to your boatmates.
