Unscramble "Elvis" and you get "Lives," say those who insist that the King is still alive and working in a Stop 'n' Shop somehwere. But for those of us who always thought of the hip-swiveler from Tupelo as "that other Elvis," this Elvis Costello newsletter website is the REAL home page of rock 'n' roll. The web arm of a print publication, "Beyond Belief" does a pretty good job translating news and information about E.C. to the digital medium. It updates visitors on Costello's current whereabouts and recording agenda (please, no more Burt Bacharach collaborations) and provides links to other EC fan pages and tour schedules. In the current issue, there's even a generous blurb about Pete Thomas' latest venture, meaning that fans of the Attractions won't have to wait until Elvis' next full-band tour to see how old and haggard they've gotten in the intervening decade.
