Traditional Native American Indian Recipes

When Thanksgiving is mentioned, many people think of Native American Indians, the first observers of the now national holiday. But what many people don't know is that November is also Native American History Month. So how about adding a few traditional Native American dishes to the table this year? The Native American Recipe Page, created by Berkeley College students, shows you it's not as hard as you think. There are more than 30 recipes to choose from, ranging from Anasazi beans & hominy (grits) to Zuni bread. A very plain page, but it gets the job done of exposing you to a nice cross section of Native cuisin--and you can print out the recipes with little ink involved!
