Pineapple Man, Hawaiian Superhero

Site: http://pineapple-man.com/solo1/index.htm

Readers who are into the "graphic novel" section of the science-fiction scene will really enjoy Oahu artist Sam Campos' creation, Pineapple Man. No, it's not a spoof, and definitely not a back-room, bad-art, amateur production. This is full-on, professional artwork, fast action, great characters, good storylines, and a multi-level online site. SoloGraphics supplies a continuing online adventure, and has produced several paper-print graphic novels as well, which can be ordered from the site if your local comics store doesn't carry them. Their e-zine is also accessible here, and you can pick up a Pineapple Man T-shirt, which should make you stand out at the next Comics Con you attend. The site also provides access to several other uncommon superhero-type creations, including Patrick Agullana's "Ninja Squirrel" and Gary Adachi's "Captain Kanaka-Kai." The site is graphics-intensive, of course, and can be slow to load, but don't miss this esoteric, classy creation. You'll be glad you clicked!
