NY Rocks, the world rolls

While this cool-looking site may be called "New York Rock," there's sure to be something here for music fans everywhere--no matter where you live. NY Rock features national and world acts who are currently performing in the city, along with local acts working the clubs, just waiting to be discovered. With eye-catching neon graphics on a black background, the nyrock.com home page links you to music news, reviews, and interviews, along with select band profiles. Audio and video clips are freely interspersed throughout the site, which is sure to please the multimedia freaks out there. The articles, enhanced by quality graphics, show a decidedly irreverent tone appropriate to a site with New York in its name, reflecting the no-nonsense attitude New Yorkers are (in)famous for. Throw in some Classifieds, Cartoons, Personals, a guide to NY Hotspots, even something called "Soft Porn Central," and nyrock.com gives great website. But don't take my word for it, check it out yourself.
