Burma Shave Signs

Growing up in the U.S. South had a lot of advantages. When we were kids and our folks took a trip in the car they kept us busy by having us look for Burma Shave signs. I think we learned a lot about life, humor and how to read in the process. The over-50 gang is especially fond of those great old signs. They are a part of who we were and what our heritage was all about. I think we need to laugh at ourselves more and remember Burma Shave. This site helps us do just that, by reprinting those amusing little poems on the Burma Shave billboards.
