Goddard Space Flight Center

In memory of the brilliant scientist, Dr. Robert Hutchings Goddard, a major space science laboratory, NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, was established. The center enables discoveries through leadership in earth and space science by creating technologies that support and advance the efforts of NASA to do research in space. Goddard's overall mission falls into three major areas of responsibility: earth science, space science, and technology development. Their website gives you information on Goddard's public education programs, a science question of the week, as well as a photo/movie gallery with stunning images done by NASA. Their library is a great educational resource center with articles and websites on a lot of different space/earth science-related topics.
