Great Comic Book Resource

Site: http://www.comics.org/sok.html

If you collect comic books, you'd be wise to bookmark this fabulous page from The Comic Book Database Project. Don't let the mechanistic interface scare you away. This powerful search engine enables you to scour the whole history of world comic art in the blink of an eye. Searching for a rare back issue by an artist no one's ever heard of? Type in the name of the penciller or inker you're interested in and let the database do the work. It's also a great nostalgia trip for those of us who have fallen out of the habit. I typed in "wings" and "Amazing Spider-Man" under Story Title and Book Name, respectively, and found just the story I remembered, "Let Fly These Aged Wings" in Amazing Spider-Man #224. If you collected comics as a kid, or still do now, I suspect you'll be following my lead!
