Jikes! A Compiler!

What don't these guys do? IBM Research has even built a Java Compiler. They have dubbed it "Jikes," and you can find it at http://www.research.ibm.com/jikes/ . Jikes features "strict adherence to the language specification, extremely fast compile speed, (and) built-in dependence analysis, allowing incremental compilation and automatic makefile generation." You can also find a Jikes FAQ on the site. If you're looking for a compiler, give this one a whirl. Jay Banerjee
