Dancing with Your Dog

If you've ever watched canine agility sports competitions on television, you've discovered a whole new dimension to the human/animal bond. As many of a given breed's original jobs are declining in demand, we humans are inventing an array of new activities to encourage people and dogs to work and play together. Musical Canine Freestyle--complete with choreography and costumes--is growing in popularity in Canada, Europe, and the USA. Here's a look at the history of this new "Tail Waggin' Sport," as some call it, as well as the three basic steps for preparing to participate in these events. Next time, pictures please!
