Open Up the Vault

Want to get the scoop on a prospective employer BEFORE you accept that job offer? Then get your butt on into The Vault. Vault.com's Company Research area allows you to click on the name of a company (listed alphabetically or categorized by industry) and get a company profile advising you on the best strategy for landing an internship, part-time, or full-time position. Better still is the message board, where (purportedly) real employees of the companies dish the real dirt on what it's like working there. Does HarperCollins offer better starting salaries than, say, Random House? Do interns at MTV really get to hang around with rock stars, or just have to get coffee for Kurt Loder?
