Top » Law & Legal IssuesBetter Business BureauSite: http://www.bbb.org/library/generalTopics.htmlNot so long ago, the Better Business Bureau (BBB) was the best source of product information. It was popular, informative, and provided consumers a source of product verification and validation. However, as the explosion of technology swept across all industries, the BBB seemed somewhat muted, then nearly silenced in the midst of information mania. Just recently, I happened to bump into this site by mistake. What I found was a pleasant surprise. It's a rich source of timely legal information, from scams and schemes to ethics and guidelines. It seems the BBB, while a forgotten resource, has grown up with the information age. I always thought of the BBB as a place to lodge a complaint when my blender broke. Now I have it bookmarked as a legal reference. So drop in and take a second look at the quiet, but powerful, Better Business Bureau. Mon, 06 Dec 1999 10:30:42 -0800 Submitted by: Lori Ericson
