Behold! A. R. Yngve

A.R. Yngve (pronounced Ing-VEE), like the vast majority of aspiring authors, hasn't had much luck getting his books published. Unlike many of these "failed" writers, he has decided not to let those polite letters of rejection get him down, and has not only continued to write, but is self-publishing his works on the Web. The 30-year-old author/artist, born in Sweden, shows considerable talent and determination: his bibliography includes five finished, illustrated novels and a short story. At his online site, you can read the novels "Darc Ages," "Parry's Protocol," and "Alien Beach," and view the images that go with each novel. A photo of the author reveals little except a determined chin, healthy smile and some respectable forearms. He chose to pose wearing black, in front of a very dark background, but anyone who puts this much effort into his work deserves whatever drama he chooses to indulge in. Yngve's work is worth more than a glance, and you might find yourself returning again and again to his online bookshelf.
