MACKIE DOES F.I.T. in NY!

In a candid interview as he walks through his exhibit of four decades of fashion costumes at the Fashion Institute of Technology that will display until December 31st, Bob Mackie comments on his Academy Award styles: "The outfits are sometimes miskaken for fashion but they're costumes like for a character in a play." And they are all "Unmistakably Mackie." He has designed for, in addition to Cher and Carol Burnett, Mitzi Gaynor, Liza Minelli, Sharon Stone and RuPaul.
