The Applets of My Eye

Want to see a page some practical applets, WITH source code? Well, fellow Java programmers, those sites are like tiny oases in a large desert: they are few and far between, but you feel nothing but gratitude when you find one. This site, at http://smapp.gis.de/ , is one such oasis. And what's more, not only will you find applets for everything from Advanced Graphics to a Pong Game (with a full explanation and source code for each applet), you can also find documentation on other topics, such as Base64 and Java and C. There are also JavaScript resources, if that's your bag. So, if you want to interactively learn about applets, or if you just want to play a game of pong, check out the site. Jay Banerjee
