A photo of a jukebox greets you at this site, where you'll find MIDI files of some of the classics of contemporary jazz. All the big guns are represeneted: Charlie Parker, Thelonious Monk, and Chick Corea, for example. The site's proprietors claim to have "modified, enhanced, and rechanneled" the tunes to make sure they play at the highest quality possible on your machine, and the songs certainly do sound first-rate. It's a little late to hear Miles Davis live--recordings like the ones here make a good second-best.
