The Plug-In Gridiron

Call me a nostalgic old foof, but I almost teared up when I stumbled on this site dedicated to Miggle Electric Football. I can remember many Christmas mornings when the famously unplayable game dominated the space underneath our family tree. Apparently there is still a market for this game, with a thriving league and even an annual convention! I'm glad SOMEBODY figured out a way to get the little men to do something other than whirl around in circles and bump into each other. This site, which accompanies a brief history of the product with photos of the plastic players as they evolved through the decades, should bring back a lot of great memories. All that's missing is the frightening electronic whine of the metallic playing field. Hut hut hike!
