Slice32, a free utility from Ziff-Davis, makes copying files that are too big for a floppy really easy to do, and it does it without having to learn a zip program like PKZip. Let's say you’ve got a 3MB file you want to move to another computer via 1.44MB floppy disks. It's easy to see that it's going to take more than a single disk to hold it...so how do you do it? After all, you don’t know any of those Zip programs...? The answer is Slice32.exe; with Slice32, you simply enter the name of the file you want to move (source filename), where you want to store it (hardrive or floppy(s)), how big you want the pieces, and that's it. This is the perfect program for beginners and experts alike...highly recommended by this reporter.
