Top » Food & Drink: Beer & CocktailsGood humored international wine discussionSite: http://www.wine-lovers-page.com/forum/generalNothing beats tasting wines but, for most wine lovers, talking about wine comes very close. I rate Robin Garr's "Wine Lovers Discussion Group" as the best. Robin, a good-humored journalist from Kentucky, manages the site with a light touch. Newcomers are welcomed and are able to add their description to a "Who Are We" database. Discussion subjects include requests for information, tasting notes, good-natured arguments, and anything else of interest to wine lovers. Joining in the discussions are consumers, wine makers, merchants, and journalists from all over the world. Most regulars are American but there is large contingent from Europe, and other countries are represented as well. A broad range of viewpoints and information is available. For instance, a German winemaker recently answered some questions about German wine. Between five and twenty new topics are posted every day and some gather fifty or more responses. This site is intuitive to use, friendly, and worth visiting on a daily basis to keep your finger on the vinous pulse. Sun, 12 Dec 1999 01:51:23 -0800 Submitted by: Peter May
