Eric Weisstein is one of those rare and unstoppable net prodigies. This one-man phenomenon is a virtual encyclopedia of reliable scientific information. "Eric Weisstein's Treasure Trove of Physics" so far covers astronomy, chemistry, physics, math, music, and scientific biographies! This physics database is extensive and interactive. It is searchable alphabetically and by keyword. Users may also contribute information or definitions on new topics. The material is pitched to students at any level from high school through to graduate school. I find the resource most helpful in browse mode. Look up "Absolute Horizon" for example, and you end up learning about neutron stars. But that's the nature of encyclopedic excursions. I'm off to explore a "wormhole." Care to join me?
