In 1960, Ira Reiss identified four standards for premarital sexual behavior: Abstinence, Permissiveness With Affection, Permissiveness Without Affection, and the infamous Double Standard. This research, conducted by Betty Harris, examines the relationship between sexuality standards and various measures of attitudes, beliefs, and behavior. I found it intriguing, informative, and insightful.
